MSN Messenger to be closed down!

by Ben Alford

As of the 15th of March Microsoft will turn of Windows live messenger, and instead will be encouraging people to switch to Skype.

Microsoft emailed all users saying, messenger log-ins will not work after the 15th of march, and for users to switch to Skype.

In October 2011 Microsoft bought Skype for £5.2bn and the switch is a natural progression that will be intergraded into the windows operating system. To help users Microsoft intergraded MSN Messenger and Skype so you can easily transfer contacts, and install the new Skype software onto your computer.
